All staff were very helpful and there was always someone around to help. Everyone always had a smile on their face which meant that everyone felt very approachable. Lovely service! The general atmosphere was welcoming and safe. There were activities you could join if you felt like it but were also able to have a quiet night if that was what you wanted. The free pasta for dinner and drink voucher was also very generous and much appreciated. A range of ages were visiting, even some families with kids. This was nice to see a lot of different people enjoying the space. There was also the opportunity to join activities in the night if you wanted to experience a bit more of a party atmosphere. Being right near the tram and very close to the train station made our stay even easier to visit Florence.
The rooms were nice and clean, same as the bathroom and shower. The location is a little ways from the city center (about a 30 minute walk), however there is a tram right up the road that takes you in with ease.
The hostel plans out some very fun events that I loved participating in. The variety in what was planned is also nice.
YellowSquare Hostel is a great choice. The rooms are spacious and bathrooms are well cleaned daily by very friendly cleaners. The location is slightly out of town but a 20 minute walk goes by quick to reach the main CBD. The food would be absolutely perfect with a buffet breakfast instead of the trays of food however this is a personal preference. The service is brilliant. My girlfriend was very unwell and they were fully booked, however, Christian (hero) managed to locate a comfortable place for us to stay, which was greatly appreciated and was also very considerate to the other guests in our room. At the beginning and end of our stay Cami greeted us with a smile, a chat, and some helpful tips so big shout out to her as well. Thank you!
I had a good time in this hostel, the facilities are very nice, both in reception and in the room, everything is modern. Just the bathroom could have a stool/bench to place things, that would make it easier.
The hostel also organizes events so travellers can meet each other, which is nice. The club downstairs can get loud at night, so I used the noise cancelling bud provided by them and was fine after that.

By far my favorite hostel I've stayed at! The all female dorm room was spacious and very clean, the environment is fun and welcoming, drinks and food are cheap and delicious. It was a roughly 20-25 minute walk from the main downtown area which I had no problem with. As a solo traveler, it created the perfect environment for me to make friends and have such the most incredible time. Will definitely be coming back here!
Although it was just one night that stayed, I wish it was more.. the place is so clean, organized, fun and the vibes are very nice.
The staff is fantastic and available all the time.
My only concern is that it felt cold at night in the room. Everything else in the room (bed, clean bathroom.. etc) is more than good!

Had a fantastic stay here. It was my first time staying at a hostel, but from what I understand from my fellow guests the bar is set very high now. There is literally not one thing I can name wrong with the hostel or my stay there. Everything was very clean and tidy, staff was friendly, and every night there was a different fun activity. Ranging from karaoke night and game night to a drag queen show. But at any moment one could just take a seat with anyone or any group and instantly make new friends.
